Hello, My 12-yr old son and I have taken on the challenge of building our first GBC. Can someone suggest where we can buy components? We live in Ontario, Canada. Used is fine. We are trying to do this as cheaply as possible. As your website suggests, we are trying a simple design first. We are following the .pdf that was posted under "Getting Started." It is called "Brickworld. Stackable BGC Module. Designer Bryan Bonahoom. Brickworld, Chicago, June 18, 2015." So basically, we need bricks, axels, and gears. The .pdf only gives us pictures of the parts, but we think we have found a website with database so that we can figure out the element/design number for each part. Any help would be much appreciated! I would like to get this started before my son and gets too frustrated and gives up. BTW, we tried calling/chatting with the LEGO customer service, but they weren't that knowledgeable.

Hi there.

Bricklink is a common way to get the parts you'll need. Be careful though - it's easy to fall into the trap of spending too much money!
